Ruby sets Emma up with a dating app and creates a profile for her. Rated: Fiction M - English - Humor/Romance - [Emma S., Regina M./The. For a prompt, could you do Emma and Regina's first date? Emma Swan stood gaping as Regina Mills spun on her heels and strode away. Emma and Regina had been dating for a while now, but Charming does not approve, and wants to fix it. How will they stop him? Swanqueen.
Emma, 25 Professional Photographer. Sarcasm is my first language. Puns is my second Emma, 25 They say a picture is worth a thousands words.
I do my best to capture that. Let's grab a drink and enjoy the scenery. Ruby grabs it and reads over it, smiling as well. Now let's look for potential candidates! She knows exactly what her best friend is up to, and to be honest, she really wanted zero part in it. She didn't need to be set up. She was new to town, for Christ's sake, not a hermit. Just because she moved to Los Angeles to get away from The wounds were still fresh and Regina was not in the right mind to date.
But Kathryn has other plans. I matched you with someone! Unamused, Regina rolls her eyes and crosses her arms. She eyes the wine bottle sitting on the coffee table and thinks that she better start drinking now if Kathryn's going to keep up this behavior.
She refills her flute and sinks into the couch, Kathryn staring at her with a puppy dog face. Regina had to admit, she was attractive. Blondes were definitely her thing. A weird blip sounded from her phone's speaker and Kathryn's eyes go wide.
She groans, rolling over and throwing her pillow over head before her phone vibrates again. She rolls her eyes and unlocks her phone, opening that dumb dating app that Ruby set up for her. She clicks on the message and opens it, looking at the reply. You're pretty dang cute Regina: She waves her phone in the brunettes face.
Who even says things like this? WHY did you download a dating app on my phone? You're too consumed by work. You're drinking too much and you've become boring. We all love you and we thought setting you up would work. Her eyes went to the bar, but they weren't there anymore. She scanned the room once more, and spotted them dancing, too fucking close for her taste.

This wasn't how it was supposed to be, she had to be behind Emma. She had to be grinding against her, feeling her with her hands, grabbing her curves. She stormed to the bar and ordered four shots of tequila.
She downed one as soon as she got them. The dates, the sneaking, the dinners, the trips and well tonight's. Regina's shocked eyes softened and she looked down exhaustedly.
I guess it was a surprise. She reserved that booth over there for tonights and invited. It was all for your two months anniversary.
Happy anniversary, I guess. Regina looked down and closed her eyes slowly. Emma had gone through all this for her, and she was walking through the streets with a dirty ex-thief playing friends.
Claps surrounded her and she looked up to see the song had ended. We're now going for my personal favourite, and I believe that its a special lady's favourite one too. This is for you. They made eye contact but the blonde looked away almost immediately. Their bodies smashed together, moving to the musics rhythm. Regina downed the remaining three drinks and ran to the bathroom, a few tears already escaping her eyes. She closed the door of one of the cabins and let more tears slip. This wasn't the Regina Mills everyone knew, why was she like this right now.
Emma was taking revenge and she deserved it. She had been a moron and she didn't deserve Emma. She heard the door open and close. It helped clear her head, but only a little, as she made her way up the path to the house. After chickening out twice, she finally rapped her knuckles against the door, wincing at the resounding thud. A moment later and Henry answered the door. Returning the hug with a soft squeeze, she managed a wry smile. Where are you guys going? The mildly confused smile on his face was so innocent and naive and she couldn't bring herself to tell him that she'd asked his mother out on a date.
He was only just over the whole "my mother is the Evil Queen" phase, the last thing she wanted to do was to throw a wrench into things. Regina was trying, really trying to be a good person for his sake, and she admired that. Emma had settled on a fitted red dress that ended mid-thigh, one she hadn't worn in a very long time, paired with heels and one of her nicer leather jackets. Her hair was down as usual, cascading over her shoulders and down her back in thick, wavy curls of gold, and she'd even worn a tasteful amount of makeup.
The last time he'd seen her this dolled up had been when they first met outside her apartment in Boston. Deciding not to dwell on it however, he bounced on the balls of his socked feet and clasped his hands behind his back.

Maybe some ice cream at the park? Man, he was pulling out all the stops. Shit, Swan, think of a good excuse. Emma's head snapped up as Regina descended the staircase in a little black number that had her jaw nearly hitting the floor. If Emma thought Regina's usual tight dresses or straining third buttons on her shirts were enticing, this was a whole new level of hot damn. The silky black dress had a plunging neckline that showed off a generous amount of cleavage, the sleeves reached her biceps and the hem stopped just above her knees, paired with black stilettos.
The brunette's hair was loose and wavy in that sexy just rolled out of bed kind of way, and her makeup was smokey and perfect like always. Her brain apparently couldn't think of anything better to say. Regina nodded, so Emma grabbed the door as the brunette retrieved her coat from the coatrack. See what I have to deal with? Emma just grinned and winked at her son before following after her date. She'd actually taken time to clean out the bug for tonight, clearing it of debris, wiping down the leather, and even spritzing it with air freshener.
Regina seemed to approve of the change she'd been in Emma's bug enough times in the past to know that it usually wasn't in the best condition and settled into the passenger seat, waiting for the blonde to start the car.
